Thinking Out Loud Ep 2.1
I'm back!
Remember the square root of 2 in our last episodes? As shown, 2 is a rational number, so square root of 2 is the opposite of a rational number, which is an irrational number.
After rational and irrational numbers, there were indices and powers.

Today I'm thinking about...
Is there a limit in mathematics?
A long time ago, people needed a way to count.

The solution is... NUMBERS!
They only needed numbers for counting, so they created Natural Numbers, which are 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and so on.(0 is often considered) This was good until they found a problem when they did the operation minus.
5 - 2 = 3 // This is okay.
2 - 5 = ? // But how to represent this?
So, people created negative numbers and placed negative and positive numbers in a set called integers.

Division.

They invented decimals and fractions to solve the problem.

The Brain
CC has short term memory, long term memory, temporal memory and database as the data storage. It also has two functions which are search function and delete function.
The short term memory can keep up to 8 memories while the temporal memory can keep up to 128 memories and the long term memory can keep up to 2048 memories.
In conclusion, it has an advanced brain which allows it to think faster.

Thinking Out Loud Ep 1.1
Welcome back!
To continue from last episode, we will consider the requirements needed.
1. A complex and capable device must be used.
2. The device must be able to operate at a fast speed.
3. The device must be able to do calculations and operations without any error at all. (100% correct and 0% wrong!)
4. The civilization that creates the simulation must be very intelligent and advanced.
5. The planet the civilization lives on or the galaxy that the civilization lives in must have a lot of resources.
We'll explain requirements 3,4 and 5.
Imagine that the device suddenly creates an error and something against the laws of science including physics, chemistry and biology and the laws of mathematics happens in the simulation.
The test subjects in the simulation might notice the error and discover that the world that they are living in is a simulation.
For number 4, this is simple to understand. The civilization must maintain, upgrade and keep the simulation running for... maybe forever? If it doesn't, then the simulation will crash and it will be the end of the world for the test subjects. Furthermore, the civilization must be advance in the first place to create the simulation.
Last but not least, number 5! Similar to the construction of a computer, a lot of metallic elements must be used. So, the surrounding environment of the civilization must be resourceful enough to have the requirements to create and maintain the device.
It still may be impossible for a simulation to be created in our world, but imagine what would it be like if we were THE simulation. Who would have created us? Do they know the whole world's secrets? Could we communicate with them?
But what if we were A simulation? What do I mean? We could have been created by a simulation inside a simulation inside a simulation inside a simulation... and so on.
Back to the point. With the technology now, it would be hard to create a simulation. However, we might be living in one. Or one inside another one. Don't get me started again...

If so, that must mean that our world is controlled by a device which is capable of running or calculating lots of operations each second. An atom vibrates at a frequency of 10^13 Hz. It means that an atom vibrates 10^13 times per second or 10^11 times per millisecond. If there are 1,000,000 atoms in a simulation, the device will have to do 10^19 operations in a second. So, the device must be really accurate,consistent and fast.
Other than the requirement of a super computer, there is also the requirement for a device that is capable to store lots of memory. Like the example above, if the device were to keep all the movements of the atoms in a second, it would have to store about 1.25*10^18 bytes of memory. This would require great and advanced technology.
With those two requirements in mind, it may seem impossible to create a simulation like above. However, it is not impossible.
